Chamonix to Courmayeur

My good friends were doing the Tour du Mont Blanc at the same time that I would happen to be there to see my sister, and I was able to hop onto the first half of their trip.

You go through mountain passes and valleys and even some beautiful little towns. Refuges are great places to stay, as are hotels when in the towns. We did a mix of both.

The most memorable moments was when we got hailed on for a few minutes, with the biggest ice balls I’ve ever seen fall from the sky. No one got (seriously) hurt 🙂
